A 7 HOUR DIFFERENCE is what happens when East meets West at the crossroads of love, culture, and most importantly family.
Dalia (RANDA KARADSHEH) studies in Boston and is back home to Amman, Jordan to attend her older sister LINA’s (MANAL SUHEIMAT) wedding
On the day of the Jaha, the first of the ceremonies that lead to the wedding, Dalia is expecting her Egyptian best friend Rula (LEILA ARABI) who’s also studying with her in the states to arrive and join the celebrations.
Rula arrives, and as Dalia rushes to greet her she is surprised that Jason (THOM BISHOPS) her American boyfriend of three years, has come with Rula to get to know Dalia’s family
Dalia has kept her relationship with Jason a secret from Lina and her widowed father Osama (GHASSAN MASHINI) as they would never approve of it because of Jason’s different religion and cultural background
As Dalia, with the aid of Rula try to keep the truth concealed, Jason delivers the next surprise, he proposes!
Dalia is then forced to evaluate her life and make decisions that will change it one way or the other. Struggling between her love for Jason and her love for her family, whom will she choose?
This is a universal story that cultures from around the world can identify with, told from the point of view of modern day Arab that don't fall in the typical stereotype.

We're often asked, what's the process of making a film?
to put it quite simply, it's five different phases
1- Developing the Idea and story
2- Pre Production (Preparing cast, crew, locations and everything needed for the shoot)
3- Production (The actual shoot of a film)
4- Post Production (Editing, Sound design, mixing and mastering, any special effects, color correction)
5- Distribution and getting the film to the audience to be seen
Our low budget film funded by the Royal Film Commission of Jordan under their Educational Feature Program aimed at first time directors was able to complete the first 3 stages of the process to the full extent. However, we fell short in the fourth stage because we ran out of funds.
We completed the final cut, but when it came to finalizing sound design, score, mixing and mastering, we had to work with what we had which wasn't sufficient.
We were determined to bring the film forth to our audience, you. so we moved head on to stage 5 where we submitted the film to festivals all around the world, and we're very proud of what the film has been able to accomplish, We've been officially selected at Dubai IFF, Salento IFF, Tenerife IFF, Malmo Arab FF, and recently the film Won Best International Feature at Manhattan Film Festival.
However, to reach the masses and to release the film commercially in theaters, TV, and DVD to reach you our audience, we need to present a great quality of sound to our great quality film so distributors wouldn't hesitate to bring the film to your town.
We need your help and support to bring the film to you!
We invite you to be part of the team, to help with making the campaign a success, you can contribute financially, and if that's difficult, we invite you to contribute by helping us share our campaign with friends, family and people you think might be able to help.
Your contribution will help us enhance and improve the sound quality of our film for you to enjoy
Your contribution will help us make the film more accessable to you, your friends, and loved ones to share.
Your contribution will help us continue to providing you with Quality Arab content that you deserve.
So thank you for helping us share our Campaign, and thank you for being part of our team, and part of our film.
We welcome your feedback and suggestions, Drop us a line :)
